State of the Union 2016

in my opinion, Donald Trump is a Fascist. Ted Cruz wants a theocracy, and to basically renew the Crusades. Marco Rubio is the face of the Establishment. Hillary Clinton is an elitist Limousine Liberal. Bernie Sanders is an absolute idiot Communist, who knows jack squat about economics.

Congratulations, USA. This is what all of your cowardice, coveting, entitlement mentality, dumbing down and social engineering has gotten you.

You have allowed Masters to rise up and control every aspect of your life–and then you turn around and shout “freedom!” and “USA! USA!” while those same Masters laugh at you–all the way to the bank. You can’t possibly think that all of the deficits, wars, taxing and regulating all of our industry to a point where the employers flee, and forcibly doing ‘this’ and ‘that’ to one another would ever lead to peace and prosperity.

And if you are looking for someone to blame, you only need look in the mirror.

You starve, and barely scrape by, while your government sends billions of dollars that were forcibly taken from you, in the form of taxes, to other countries–to bribe them, to go along with US-favored politics.

You now live in a society where your every purchase, email, phone call and text message is monitored by government. Even your laptop cameras and microphones can be turned on, remotely, by government, without your knowledge or consent, because you might be a terrorist–and “terrorism” is the favored excuse for government to use for all manner of power-grabs, these days.

Over half of police resources are used to kidnap and cage people who have done nothing more than smoke a leaf that government said was forbidden.

Government even tells you what types of light bulbs you will be allowed to use–and you still think you’re free?

The FDA has approved every single prescription drug that has maimed, killed or otherwise harmed someone, yet you see “These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA…” disclaimers on health supplement bottles. They have pushed the toxic stuff through, but can’t be bothered with vitamins and herbal remedies?

When cops break the law, or kill someone, they get put on paid leave–which is nothing more than paid vacation, if we’re being honest. If you break the law, it’s a completely different outcome.

Government has taken self-defense out of our hands, and has even devised a [trial lawyer] system where businesses and citizens are afraid to defend themselves, because the criminal might sue–and win!

If you are an average citizen, nearly half of your income is forcibly taken from you, each year, in the form of taxes, fees, fines, permits and licenses. Half!

You are conditioned to believe–through TV shows, movies, video games, talk radio, news broadcasts, etc.–that without government force the world would plunge into chaos and destruction, yet you peacefully self-govern, every day.

After all that they have done to you, you still want to tell me that we need this system? If so, realize that it’s your conditioning talking, not your rational mind.

School was the first step in your conditioning process; your parents handed you over to strangers, when you were very young and impressionable, and those strangers conditioned you to believe that strangers can wield authority over you–and punish you when you disobey. Basically, your were handed over into slavery.

If the word, “freedom,” truly means anything to you, you must help to abolish the system that has allowed these would-be rulers to destroy everything good that we’ve ever known.

Most of you are angry–if the current presidential “election” climate is any indication. The only problem is that you think that you can actually change the overall scope of power by voting. Sorry, but history shows that you cannot.

The “elections” are rigged; the Powers That Be would never let something like a popular vote take away their power and money. You even see the rules-breaking and maneuvering at the Primary level, so stop putting your faith in a ballot box!

We have to begin exercising mutual respect, self-defense, community involvement and emergency preparedness. We also have to rally around each other, so that the government goons understand that if they mess with one of us, they mess with all of us! That’s the only way we can turn things around.

Stay away from the polls, and learn more about Voluntaryism(.com).

The only way we are going to truly become a civilized society is when we learn to live and let live, and stop trespassing against one another.

“Government” is the most destructive, warring, murderous, stealing, lying, corrupt organization on the planet. It has to end. Now!

The Voting Booth – A Suggestion Box for Slaves

“If you don’t vote, you can’t complain” is one of the most ridiculous, illogical statements I’ve ever heard. The only people who rightfully can complain are those who choose not to be a part of the political process.

Many people who have decided not to vote have awakened to the realization that the people they “elect” will be expected to initiate force against their friends, family and neighbors–a criminal activity–and those non-voters have chosen not to be an accessory to crime.

To those who claim to be a part of the “freedom movement,” please understand that you shouldn’t have to band with others to petition ‘Master’ (government) for your freedom. The system’s very nature is to control; that’s what government does. So, to ask people who gravitate to positions of power and control to please not exercise power and control over you is a waste of time–actually, it’s dangerous and counterproductive.

When you cast a vote, regardless of your intentions, you are helping to perpetuate and legitimize the system. By doing so, you are giving other people–typically an unenlightened majority–the opportunity to vote for things with which you disagree. Also, the votes cast may not even be the true results, but as long as masses of people show up to the polls the outcomes can be manipulated fairly easily.

And what has voting gotten you, anyway? Do you have more freedom than you parents enjoyed? How about less taxation? A stronger economy? More opportunities for enterprise and prosperity? More privacy? Less government intrusion into your life?

Every election cycle, we hear the people cry to “Vote the rascals out!” What has that done for the country? It’s given us increased taxation, a destroyed economy, a worthless currency, more surveillance cameras, militarized police, Homeland Security, email and Internet monitoring, cellphone tracking, more required licenses and permits (permission from a pay-off), molestation of our kids and spouses at airports, more checkpoints, more wars, more invasions, more murder, more destruction, more angry world neighbors…and on and on.

Because you voted, this is what you have received–regardless of what you wanted. YOU are the only one who cannot complain, because you enabled it by participating!

Voting doesn’t ensure success, anyway, regardless of the vote total.

I’ve sat through meetings and watched government officials hear 95% of people in a room say “No!” only to watch the officials vote “yes.” They know you’ll just complain to your friends, write an angry letter to the newspaper editor (which probably won’t get printed, anyway), and post an angry status update on Facebook–and then you’ll get over it and forget, because your kid’s soccer game, or going clubbing, is more important than the risk involved with running these officials out of town. As a politician once stated, “You can complain all you want, as long as you pay your taxes.”

The only way to truly bring about change is to STOP VOTING and participating in the system. Operate outside of it, as much as possible. End all support for it. When support is gone, there will be no system left to manipulate.

And Libertarians should take note: Government is borne of an entitlement mentality. Even if you want a “small,” “limited,” or “Constitutional” government (something that has never been and never will be), you are saying that you feel entitled to some government function and you feel that others should be forced to pay for it (taxation). Sorry, but that’s a socialist mindset–certainly not freedom–and it makes you no better than the other socialists (Rs & Ds) who are destroying the country. You all want to steal and spend the wealth of others; you just differ on how much to take, from whom to take it and where it should be spent.

Break free from the Matrix. Think outside the box. Overcome your conditioning. Be what you want to see in others. And, please, stop helping to perpetuate a slavery system!

It’s hard to look at this list and realize that people view this stuff–slave driving (law enforcement)–as entertainment.

For those who say this isn’t slavery, can you speak freely without consequences from the State, work any kind of job you desire, travel unimpeded, start a business, freely exchange goods and services, eat what you want, smoke what you want, marry whomever you choose, build without a permit or license (permission), and not be forced to give your wealth to other people, etc.? No, you can’t, and just because you don’t have physical chains on your legs doesn’t mean you aren’t a slave to the will (“law”) of others.

The worst part about all these cop and emergency shows is that they are being used 1) to psychologically condition you to obey your law enforcement masters, and show you the consequences that may result if you don’t; 2) hopefully make you think that these people are just regular good guys, like you, who are just doing their jobs (jobs that they voluntarily signed on for, I might add, so them trying to hide behind that excuse is ridiculous); 3) condition you to understand and accept that law enforcement will be in every area of your life, from womb to grave, and you should accept it as normal; and 4) as a recruiting tool for authoritarians.

Even National Geographic and Syfy have introduced cop shows into their channel lineups. Is nothing sacred, anymore?

I want to be clear that I do not support any kind of activity that harms another person. But in this case, all types of “criminal” activities are being used in TV programming to condition you to a Police State. Don’t fall for it, and see these shows for what they really are–and turn them off!

“The principle that the majority have a right to rule the minority, practically resolves all government into a mere contest between two bodies of men, as to which of them shall be masters, and which of them slaves; a contest, that — however bloody — can, in the nature of things, never be finally closed, so long as man refuses to be a slave.” – Lysander Spooner

Adulthood and the Law

I have a serious problem with the so-called US Justice System’s handling of adults and juveniles.

According to libraryindex.com, “By the year 2000 all 50 states and the District of Columbia had one or more laws permitting the transfer of youths to criminal courts to be tried as adults. Many states have also expanded these laws in order to make it easier to prosecute juveniles as adults. For example, a 1995 Missouri law removed the minimum age limit, which had been 14, for trying children as adults in cases involving drug dealing, murder, rape, robbery, and first-degree assault. The law also permits children 12 years old to be prosecuted as adults for other crimes. A Texas law allows children as young as 10 to be sentenced to up to 40 years’ incarceration.”

A 12-year-old child can be tried as an adult, and sentenced to years of imprisonment for committing certain crimes, but NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON in the “Land of the Free” United States under 21 years of age is enough of an adult to consume an alcoholic beverage, according to government. (The age limit of 21 is the highest of any country in the world, by the way, and the US has the highest prison population of any country on earth.)

A person can join the Army, and put his life on the line in war, at 17–and operate heavy artillery, assault weapons and vehicles–but is prohibited from going into a bar and having a cold beer at the end of the day.

The double standard is completely illogical and unacceptable. It is used by prosecutors to increase their number of “successfully prosecuted cases,” so they are perceived to be “tough on crime,” and used to increase the overall power of the State.

I don’t care for alcoholic beverages, or court systems, but to make a small improvement in all of this I propose a new, logical standard for determining whether or not someone is an “adult”: If the person in question is not adult enough to enjoy a few shots from a bottle of whiskey, they cannot be tried as an adult in court.

This ridiculous court practice has got to end.

Reality Check

I constantly hear people say that they are afraid of the police, the IRS, what the President will do while in office, afraid that taxation and regulations will drive them out of business, that they will be sued out of business due to frivolous lawsuits, that they aren’t sure that they’re jumping through all the hoops that government requires just to be able to protect their families, that there may be a new military draft instituted, that they will die waiting nearly 10 years on average for the FDA to approve a treatment that may save their life, and so much more.

I hear national talk show hosts repeatedly state that “both [major] parties” have “sold us out,” or are leading us “down the road to Hell.” Even in ads for legal services, one highly rated host mentioned that you should use the legal services being advertised on their show “to protect yourself from government.”

Isn’t it time that we finally admit that government is not a good thing? If people are living in fear, and we have the largest prison population of any country on earth–even though this is supposedly the “Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave”–isn’t it time to admit that this was a mistake and work to abolish it?

I’m not talking about overthrowing the Establishment with violence and bloodshed. I am simply hoping that people will come to their senses and realize that we need to reverse course and peacefully deconstruct the source of our oppression.

I have heard some people say that we need government, because of human nature–but human nature is precisely why no human(s) should ever be able to forcibly control and rule over other humans, with armed armies of officers, agents and soldiers to back them up.

In human history, there has never been a limited, restrained government. Some governments have taken longer than others, but all have failed to remain limited or small. Why? Human nature.

Thomas Jefferson summed it up, quite well:

“Sometimes it is said that man cannot be trusted with the government of himself. Can he, then, be trusted with the government of others? Or have we found angels in the form of kings to govern him? Let history answer this question.” — Thomas Jefferson, 1st Inaugural Address, 1801

Too bad Jefferson didn’t follow his own wise words.

Humans will be humans; no one suddenly becomes a saint, simply by being elected to office. In fact, power corrupts, as the old saying goes—and all of the political scandals, corruption and lies constantly reported in the news should provide ample proof.

Politicians and government officials have divided the country and tricked the people into thinking that they are justified and correct in trying to control others, for some perceived “greater good.” Sorry, but there can be no “greater good” than freedom, and government tramples all over it.

Lysander Spooner once said:

“The principle that the majority have a right to rule the minority, practically resolves all government into a mere contest between two bodies of men, as to which of them shall be masters, and which of them slaves; a contest, that-however bloody–can, in the nature of things, never be finally closed, so long as man refuses to be a slave.”

Government officials steal from us (taxation), manipulate our currency and destroy our savings (Federal Reserve), transfer wealth from the commoners to the elite (bailouts), as well as tell us what we can say, what we can eat, where we can travel, what we can buy (and from whom), who we can marry, what we can wear, where we can build, where we can live, how we can work to feed our families, what we can read, how we can protect our families, and on and on, yet they simultaneously try to convince us that we’re free and that they are working to preserve our freedom.

Good grief, people; wake up!

And where did these people get their power, in the first place?

Some will say that “power comes from the people”—but there’s a big problem with that, when you look at everything, logically.

Being a regular person, your neighbor can’t “legally” or morally go out and break into your home, take your children because he doesn’t like you or the way you are raising your kids, steal money from your wallet or bank accounts, force you to use mercury-containing (highly toxic) fluorescent lights, tear your newly-built storage building down because you didn’t get permission (a permit) from him, fine you because you painted your house a color that doesn’t meet with “community standards” or zoning regulations, etc.

How is it, then, that your neighbor—a regular person, just like anyone else—can win an “election” and suddenly gain the power to do these “illegal” and immoral things? If he didn’t have the power, before, and no one else possessed the rightful or moral authority to do these things either, how can that power come from the people? It can’t; therefore, it is illegitimate. You can’t give something away that you do not have—and men in powdered wigs didn’t have any right to simply write words on a piece of parchment and begin ruling present and future generations, either.

We have to admit mistakes and make the necessary corrections. Government and freedom cannot coexist, so a choice has to be made.

The Bible states:

“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other.”

Even the Declaration of Independence supports correction, stating “…whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends [Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness], it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it...”

The time has come to make a choice: Freedom, or institutionalized slavery, division and theft.

For me, the choice is obvious.

Which one will you choose?

Michael Phelps and The Law

First of all, screw The Law. I have absolutely no respect for laws, their enslaving results and those who enforce them.

Second, Michael Phelps–the gold medalist swimmer–owns Michael Phelps. Senators don’t own him. The President doesn’t own him. His neighbors don’t own him. The newspapers don’t own him. Richland County (SC) Sheriff, Leon Lott, certainly doesn’t own him, either.

Michael Phelps owns Michael Phelps, exclusively, so Michael Phelps should be able to decide what Michael Phelps will do with–or put into–his body. If government owns his body, government can dictate what Michael can do with his body. If not, SHUT UP AND GET OFF HIS CASE about the picture of him looking as though he is taking a bong hit at a private college party.

I absolutely HATE drugs and alcohol, and I have never used either of them, but I believe in freedom and self-ownership. Sheriff Leon Lott just doesn’t want to let it go, unfortunately.

In my personal opinion, I feel that Mr. Lott is simply trying to make a name for himself on the national stage. What other reason can there be, because of all the time and trouble it will be to gather any kind of credible evidence upon which to build a case–all for misdemeanor charges?

Actually, Mr. Lott is making a name for himself, in certain circles, but not the kind of name he wants.

Sheriff Lott has been on TV and radio saying he wants to get tough on “crackheads” and other local issues, so it’s no surprise to me that he is now on this ridiculous campaign against Michael Phelps.

Apparently, we’ve put an end to rape, murder, theft and other such crimes, since Mr. Lott’s department is putting so much time and effort into chasing a celebrity who allegedly smoked something in a pipe that hasn’t received the government’s official stamp of approval.

This country has become a nation of self-righteous busybodies, and it’s this busybody quality that has led us down the road away from freedom toward totalitarianism, with more laws, jails, rules, ordinances, regulations, codes, permits, licenses, taxes, fees, fines, etc.

Freedom is the one thing that you have to give to others in order to be sure you can have it for yourself. With that in mind, be sure to make a contribution, today and everyday.
